Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) invites Building construction companies to tender for the selection of a general building contractor for insulation works to improve storage conditions for medical supplies in its pharmacy in Kubwa, Abuja. Interested bidders should possess relevant qualifications and experience or should be a project manager (Civil Engineer) with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience.

Title: Open Call for Tender for the Selection of a General Building Contractor for Insulation Works

Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT)

Project Description

  • Médecins Sans Fronties (MSF) is seeking to improve storage conditions for medical supplies by insulating its pharmacy in Kubwa, Abuja. 
  • The insulation works will ensure temperature control to maintain medical standards.
  • The procurement process will be conducted through an open call for tender as defined in Nigerian public procurement regulations and in respect to MSF process and is open to all eligible candidates.
  • Bidders must submit offers covering all aspects of the project.

Bidders must submit the following documents:
Administrative and Financial Documents:

  • Professional registration certificate
  • Company accreditation specifying its category of operation.
  • Company statutes.
  • Certificate of non-bankruptcy
  • Certificate of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria
  • Proof of registration with the National Pension Commission (PENCOM)
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN) certificate
  • Company profile, including full contact details
  • Power of atomey for the signatory of the submission (if applicable).

Technical References:

  • List of similar projects (at least three) completed in previous years, including project tile, amount, year of execution, duration, and supporting certificates of successful completion from clients
  • List of angsing projects, including project title, amount, start date, duration, percentage of completion, and contact details ofthe supervising authority, with copies of contact cover pages and signature pages
  • List of key personnel, including CVs of at least four key staff members
  • List of major equipment and materials available for project execution.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Fulfilment of qualification conditions in terms of required financial, material, and human resources for project execution
  • A project manager (Civil Engineer) with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience
  • Proven experience in similar insulation works in terms of project type and financial volume

Note

  • Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Bids will be opened on 15/05/2025 at 10:00 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives who wish to attend.
  • Bidders are invited to visit the project site on 05/05/2005 at the MSF Pharmacy in Kubwa, Abuja.
  • Failure to provide any of the required documents or submission of non-compliant documents will result in automatic disqualification of the bidder. 
  • Examples of non-compliance include: expired documents.undated legalizations, scanned or non certified legalizations, missing legalizations, inconsistencies, and falsified documents.
  • For joint ventures, all partners must meet these requirements individually.
