The raison d'être of Honorable Isa Sani Mohammed KeKe the Executive Chairman of Obi LGC for Accountability, Transparency and Good Governance along with his commitment to ensuring meeting the growing demand for food, effective grass root learning/improve tertiary school's enrolment, efficient healthcare services, security of lives/properties and infrastructural development across the Local Government Area, management provides Funds in the 2025 Approved budget ("BUDGET OF HOPE") for the execution of the following people-oriented project;
Furthermore, the Council wishes to use this media to inform eligible and prospective Civil Engineering Contractors/Companies about Civil Works opportunity in the Department of Works, Housing, Transport and Land Services to indicate interest by providing information demonstrating eligibility to be listed for subsequent invitation for bid submission.

Requirements
Prospective bidders must have the following requirement to be eligible:

Certificate of incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission,(CAC).
The company must be fully registered with the Obi Local Government
The company valid/current tax clearance certificate must be up to date
Company profile and evidence of technical and financial capacity
List of verifiable and evidence of at least two (2) similar jobs successfully executed and certified
The company latter headed paper must carry the name of its director(s)
All documents Submitted must be true and correct.
Evidence of current and valid registration with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), PENCOM, ITF, NSITF.
Company audited account for the last three (3) years (2021), (2022), (2023).
The company does not have any Director who has been convicted in any Country for criminal offences relative to fraud, or financial impropriety or criminal misrepresentation or falsification of facts relative to any matter.
Total acquiescence to relevant sections of PPA Art 2007.not mention herein.
The aforementioned requirement is also applicable to those for EOI/Pre-qualification registration, additionally, two (2) bound Eol Documents duly signed, paginated. Separated by divides and arranged neatly.

Collection of Bid Document

Interested and competed bidders are required to collect bid documents and designs from the Department of Works on payment of non-refundable Tenders fee of one hundred thousand naira (N100,000.00) only.

Submission of Bid Document
Bid Documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name boldly written behind and addressed to the Executive Chairman, through the Director Works, Housing, Transport and Land Services Obi Local Government Council, Nasarawa State. Clearly indicate "2025 Pre Qualification / Expression of Interest (EOI) Letter", in the reverse of each envelope should bear the name of address of the interested and competent contractor/company and dropped during office hours - 0800 to 1600 hours (Monday to Friday) at:

Opening of Tender

Submitted documents (BIDs) will be open in a week from the date of this publication by 2:00pm while, Pre Qualification / Expression of Interest (EOI) opening would take place earlier on the same day by 09:00am local time at the Legislative Chamber of the Local Government Council, Secretariat Obi.
