Introduction
- The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has received financing from the World Bank and French Development Agency (AFD) toward the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Physical Improvement/Upgrading of 3 Nos. Agro-Logistics Centres (ALCs) in Kebbi State (Lots 1-3).
- This contract will be financed by the International Development Association (IDA), French Development Agency (AFD) and Kebbi State Government. Procurement process will be governed by the World Banks Procurement Regulations.
- The Kebbi State Project Implementation Unit, Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Physical Improvement/ Upgrading of:
- Name of Agro Logistic Center / Section: Argungu Market (Agro-Logistics Centre)
- LGA: Fakai LGA
- Financial Capability (NGN Naira): N390 Million
- Average Annual Construction Turnover (NGN Naira): N3.5 Billion
- Specific Contract & Contract Management: 2 Contracts each of N1.8 Billion or one (1) contract of cumulative value of N3.6Billion within the last five years.
- Note: The project involves Physical Improvement/Upgrading of 3 Nos. Agro-Logistics Centres in Kebbi State (Lots 1-3). The works include but not limited to; upgrading of open shed, lockup shops, warehouse, abattoir, internal roads, drainages, walkways, perimeter fence, water supply, solar street lights etc. as well as strict undertaking of social and environmental safeguard.
- The work is expected to be completed within 18months.
- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement Method using Request of Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers-Procurement in investment projects financing" November, 2020-fourth edition (Procurement Regulations) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Coordinator, Kebbi State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), State project Implementation Unit (SPIU) and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1600 at the address given below.
- The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N150, 000.00) only per Lot.
