Introduction
- The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for physical improvement of 3 No. Agro Logistic Centers in Katsina State. This contract will be jointly financed by the L'Agence Française de Dévelopement (French Development Agency or AFD). Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank's Procurement Regulations.
- 2. The Katsina State Project Implementation Unit, Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the physical improvement of 3 No. Agro Logistic Centers in Katsina State. The contract lot is as follows:

- The project involves livestock market (cattle and small ruminants), isolation/treatment area, animal feeds market, parking area, administrative block, toilets, open sheds, loading ramps, animal feeding and water troughs, refuse dump, gate house, Grains Market, Motor Park, solar borehole and overhead tank, electrical and mechanical works as well as strict undertaking of Social and Environmental Safeguard.
- Bidding will be conducted through Limited Competitive procurement method using Request for Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers-Procurement in Investment Projects Financing" November, 2020 - Fourth Edition ("Procurement Regulations"), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
