Introduction
  • Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) invites interested and prequalified service providers for this tender opportunity for the Provision of Sand Control and Stimulation Services at company's operational areas.
  • The proposed award strategy is multiple contracts of five (5) years term with an option of two (2) years extension.
Scope of Work
Scope of work for Wellsite Geological Services shall include but not limited to the following:
  • Confirm the integrity of the logging tools (LWD, MWD, Wireline logging tools) from the Company points of view, as well as the validity of the equipment's calibrations.
  • Proper calibration proper calibration of gas equipment and QC mud logging data.
  • Geological Data acquisition during the drilling operation and QC acquired data to ensure data validity.
  • Geological data streaming to all other monitoring locations.WSG Reporting of Geological Information.
  • Provision and Review of POA (Planned of Action) with service personnel for every hole section before commencement of drilling operation.
  • Real time pore pressure monitoring and Modelling.
  • Ensure drilling follows Pore pressure predrill model.
  • Engaged in SSDHA Analysis and interpretation.

  • To be eligible for this tender exercise, interested bidders are required to be pre-qualified and 'live' in the 3.12.02 - Geological Evaluation Services (Organic, Geochemistry, Petrology, Diagenesis, Biostratigraphy) 3D modelling, Biostratigraphy, Diagenesis, Log Interpretation, Geochemistry, Organic chemistry Petrology, Volumetric category in NipeX Joint Qualification System (NJQS) database. All successfully pre-qualified and 'live' bidders in this category by the bid close date will receive Invitation to Tender (ITT).

Nigerian Content Requirements
  • Tenderer shall demonstrate that entity is a Nigerian-registered company. Submit certified true CAC forms 10, 02 & 07 (or its equivalent; CAC 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, etc.). Tenderer shall provide evidence of registration with the NCDMB NOGIC JQS andcopies ofNUPRC.
  • Tenderer shall provide detailed description of the location of in-country committed facilities not limited to administrative office, technical office, and workshop for execution of the work scope.
  • Provide a project-specific organogram showing Names and Nationalities of all key personnel that will execute the work scope for this service (not limited to Wellsite geologist, Petrophysicist, Field Technician, etc.).
  • Tenderer shall provide evidence of any of the underlisted NCECS demonstrating the capacity to execute the work scope:
    • Category 1,2,3,4 or 5 Services and Support (SS) group NCEC demonstrating ownership of equipment (not limited to Mudlogging Tools, Wireline Tools, Petrographic microscopes, Data recording devices, etc.)
    • Category 1,2,3,4 or 5 Consultancy Services (CS) group NCEC demonstrating capacity to deploy personnel for wellsite geology services (not limited to Wellsite geologist, Petrophysicist, Field Technician, etc.)
  • Tenderer shall comply with the latest approved version of NCDMB HCD guideline by committing (via a letter of undertaking) to providing Project-Specific training, man-hour, budget, skill development, and understudy plan for Nigerian personnel utilizing OGTAN registered trainer(s) or other approved NCDMB training institution(s).
Additional Information
  • Suppliers eligible for this tender opportunity are expected to be prequalified and "live" in NJQS under the product/service category.
  • The Invitation to Tender (ITT) and any further progression of this tender shall be via NipeX.
  • All costs incurred in preparing and processing NJQS prequalification shall be to the contractor's accounts.
  • Meet the requirement of Static and Dynamic Reservoir Studies.
  • This advertisement shall neither be construed as any form of commitment on the part of Chevron Nigeria Limited to award any contract to any company and or associated companies, sub-contractors or agents, nor shall it entitle prequalified companies to make any claims whatsoever, and/or seek any indemnity from Chevron Nigeria Limited and or any of its partners by virtue of such companies having been prequalified in NJQS.
  • The tendering process shall be the NNPC Ltd contracting process requiring pre-qualified companies to submit technical tenders first. Following a technical review, only technically and financially qualified contractors will be requested to submit commercial tenders.
  • Chevron Nigeria Limited will communicate only with authorized officers of the pre-qualifying companies and NOT through individuals or Agents.
