Introduction
- The Kano State Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf in its effort to improve the infrastructure standard as well as to de-congest traffic in the State wishes to invite Competent Contractors to submit both Technical and financial proposals for the Rehabilitation and Asphaltic Over-lay of 6No Roads in Kano Metropolitan as per the following Lot under 'THE URBAN RENEWAL PROGRAM (ABBA GIDA-GIDA 2024)':

- Project Name: Road from Airport Junction - Ashton Road - Airport Road - Club Road- Murtala Mohammed Way (Round About)
- Length (KM): 9.10.
Eligibility / Bidding Requirements
All interested Bidders are requested to:
Submit a Comprehensive Company Profile containing the following Documents:
- Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) Years; 2021, 2022 and 2023; Valid till 31st December 2024
- Evidence of un-abridged Company Audited Account for the recent three (3) Years as above
- Technical Qualification and experience of Key Personnel
- Evidence of Financial Capability
- Evidence of Similar Projects executed for the last three (3years)
- Evidence of Works Registration with Kano State Government
- Evidence of Registration with Kano State Ministry for Public Procurement, Projects Monitoring and Evaluation and Bureau for Public Procurement
- Copy of Business Premises License
- Evidence of Current Registration with NSITF, ITF, PENCOM valid till 2023
- Evidence of Company Registration with COREN, SURCON
- Sworn Affidavit to confirm all information presented in its Bid are true, genuine and up-to-date
- For a Joint Venture Partnership, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) should be provided including all the relevant Documents mentioned above from (a- 1).
Bidders are required to:
- Obtain Bidding Documents in respect of the Lots from the Office of the Secretary Special Tenders Board at the Department of Planning, Research and Statistics, (PRS) Ministry of Works and Housing Kano State
- Submit all Bids and other relevant Documents in sealed Envelopes; one for Technical and the other financial proposal
- Submit a Bid Security of an Amount not 3% of the Bid Price from a Reputable Bank
- Bidder(s) are to enclose Schedule of Basic Rates inconformity with the Prevailing/Realistic Market Prices.

Monday, 9th December 2024 by 12:00 Noon.

Opening of Bids
- Documents will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission of the Documents on Monday 9th December 2024 at the Ministry of Work's Conference Room.
- However, late submission will not be entertained as the Bids will be automatically REJECTED.
