Details
- The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACRESAL) project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Government Girl College Doma Gully Erosion Control Works (GGC DOMA)
- The State Project Management Unit (SPMU) of the Gombe State Ministry of Water Environment and Forest Resources now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Government Girl College Doma Gully Erosion Control Works (GGC DOMA).
- The Works involve the construction of 18km of concrete channel gully erosion control with 12 culverts, wire fencing, and Bioremediations.
- The Works are expected to be completed within the period of 30 months. The margin of preference is applicable.
- Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing" September 2023 ("Procurement Regulations"), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the state project management unit (SPMU) of Gombe State ACRESAL office and inspect the Bidding document during office hours of 9 am to 5 pm (local time) at the address given below excluding public holidays.
Collection of Documents
- The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN100,000.00) only.
- The method of payment will be by bank draft or direct transfer in favour of the following account: 0002441862 TAJ Bank Acct Name: Agro Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape.
- Proof of payment is to be presented at the address below.
- At the bidder's request, the documents could also be sent by courier after paying an additional fee to cover the delivery cost.

Bids should be submitted in envelopes marked "TECHNICAL" and placed in an outer Bid envelope marked "ORIGINAL BID" which must be delivered to:

Note
- Electronic bidding will not be permitted.
- Late Bids will be rejected.
- The outer Bid envelope marked "ORIGINAL BID", and the inner envelope marked "TECHNICAL PART" will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below by noon on 21st January 2025.
- All envelopes marked "FINANCIAL PART" shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening.
- All Bids must be accompanied by a "Bid Security" of NGN563,500,000 million or USD350,000
- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder's beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
