Title: Request to Bid for the Construction and Physical Improvement of Agro-Logistic Centre of Aku Market of Kogi State

• The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank and the French Development Agency (AFD) and on-lent the financing to nineteen participating states (namely Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Sokoto, Niger, Gombe, Ekiti, Kaduna, Ebonyi and Osun) toward the cost of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction and Physical Improvement of 3 Nos Agro-Logistic Centres in Kogi State (Lots 1-3).
  
• This contract will be financed by the International Development Association (IDA), French Development Agency and Kogi State Government. Procurement process will be governed by the World Bank's Procurement Regulations
  
• The Kogi State Ministry of Energy and Rural Development through the Project Implementation Unit of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Construction and Physical Improvement of Agro-Logistic Centre of Ajaka Market of Kogi State as follows:
  
  • LGA / Location: Adavi
  • Financial Capability (NGN NAIRA): N450 Million
  • Average Annual Construction Turnover (NGN NAIRA): N2.5Billion
    
  • Specific Contract & Contract Management: 2 Contracts of N1.2Billion each within the last five years.
    
• Note
  • The project involves Construction and Physical improvement of an existing 3 Nos Agro-Logistic Centres. The works include but not limited to; Site clearance and Earthwork, Culverts and Drains, Pavement, steel works, Block works and Surfacing as well as strict undertaking of Social and Environmental Safeguard.
    
  • The work is expected to be completed within 18 months.
    
• Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive procurement method using Request for Bids (RFB) document as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing" September, 2023- Fifth Edition ("Procurement Regulations"), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  
• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the State Project Coordinator Kogi State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) and inspect the bidding document during office hours 9:00 am to 4:00 pm local time at the address given below.
  
• The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (NGN150, 000.00) only per lot.
