Background

• Community Engagement & Social Development Initiative (CESDI) is a non-profit established in 2014. The organization is committed to educating, empowering & creating awareness of the sustainable livelihood of women, men, children & youth, and the less privileged members of the society. CESDI is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). The Organization is involved in community development, capacity building, economic empowerment, social counseling, social mobilization, raising awareness/ education on health, and conflict resolution/peace-building initiatives.
• Community Engagement and Social Development Initiative (CESDI) in partnership with Jireh Doo Foundation (JDF) are implementing an NHF-funded project titled: Using local approaches in Preventing and responding to Gender Based Violence (GBV) in Amarua, Musa Kalari, Kaleri and Bulturi communities in Konduga Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State.
• CESDI is implementing the livelihood component of the project under the project subcomponent ‘Enhancing Livelihood and economic status of 276 women and girls through micro gardening in Konduga LGA’. This Terms of Reference (ToR) outlines the requirements for supplying seedlings and equipment necessary for establishing micro gardens.

Objectives
The primary objective of this TOR is:

• To provide a diverse range of quality seedlings suitable for microgardening.
• To supply necessary gardening equipment to support the cultivation process.

Scope of Work
The supplier will be responsible for:

Seedlings Supply:
Provide a variety of seedlings which include:

• Ensure all seedlings are organic and free from pests and diseases.

Equipment Supply:
Provide essential micro gardening tools, including:

Delivery and Logistics:

• Timely delivery of all products to specified locations.
• Ensure proper packaging to maintain seedling viability during transit.

Target Beneficiaries
The intended beneficiaries include:

• 276 IDPs and host communities of Amarwa, Kaleri, Musakaleri and Bulturi in Konduga LGA.

Performance Standards
Suppliers must adhere to the following standards:

• Quality assurance for seeds and equipment.
• Compliance with local agricultural regulations.
• Customer support for inquiries and guidance on micro gardening.

Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on:

• Quality and variety of seeds offered.
• Range and durability of equipment.
• Pricing and payment terms.
• Delivery timelines and logistics capabilities.
• Previous experience and references in similar projects.

• A detailed quotation outlining their offerings.
• Pricing list for seedlings and equipment.
• Delivery schedule.
• Company profile, Certificate and relevant experience.
