The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Kogi State is inviting eligible bidders to submit their Tender documents for the Construction of Lokoja International Market (LIM). Interested bidders should possess relevant qualifications and experience.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is responsible for formulating and implementing government policies that promotes commercial activities as it affects commerce and industrializationof the State. The Ministry, desirous of fully performing its mandate in accordance with Law and extant provisions, wishes to invite qualified companies with requisite experience in Civil Construction (Building & Road), and electrical installations to Bid for:

Introduction

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is responsible for formulating and implementing government policies that promotes commercial activities as it affects commerce and industrializationof the State. The Ministry, desirous of fully performing its mandate in accordance with Law and extant provisions, wishes to invite qualified companies with requisite experience in Civil Construction (Building & Road), and electrical installations to Bid for the Construction of Lokoja International Market (LIM).

Requirements

Evidence of Registration with CAC (Certificate of Incorporation and Particulars of Directors).
Tax Clearance Certificate for the most recent 3 years.
Evidence of (PENCOM/ITF and NSTTF) Registration.
Evidence of Completed projects.
Awarded contract/Agreement.
Evidence of Registration with Kogi State Bureau of Public Procurement.
Evidence of VAT registration and Remittance.
A reference letter from a reputable bank confirming its readiness to issue APG in favourof the bidding company.
Reference letter guarantying financial capacity of Fifty Billion Naira (N50,000,000,000.00) from a reputable bank in Nigeria.
Evidence of similar jobs done for the past 4years.
Comprehensive profile of the contractor with list of key personnel and equipment. 12. Evidence of payment of non-refundable Tender fee.
Bidding companies may furnish financial statements, particulars of Directors and other relevant details of sister/subsidiary companies in support of their Bid.
Evidence of Registration of business premises with Kogi State Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The Company must be listed with Federal Bureau of Public Procurement.

Collection of Tender Documents

The Tender documents are to be collected from the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry upon the payment of a non-refundable fee of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000.00) into specified Government account.

Submission and Opening of Bid Documents
Interested and qualified bidders should submit their duly completed Bid documents to:
