The Ministry of Works in line with Yobe State public procurement Act (2016) is inviting eligible interested bidders/contractors to submit their bids for the Construction of Jumbam Bridge and Re-Construction of Road Connecting the New Bridge to Koromari Town and Dapchi Bridge in Yobe State. Interested bidders should possess relevant qualifications and experience.

The Ministry of Works is primarily to formulate and implement the policies, programmes and projects of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) with respect to: Road Transport, Highways construction and rehabilitation; Highways planning and design; monitoring and maintenance of federal roads & bridges nationwide; Provision of infrastructure as well as Survey & mapping of the nation’s internal and international boundaries. Driving economic diversity growth and development through continuous and incremental provision and maintenance of road networks, introducing the use of concrete in road construction activities and to focus on the key areas of deliverables set for it.

We hereby invite eligible interested bidders / contractors to submit their bids for:

Eligibility Requirements

Evidence of Registration with Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement.
Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nig: Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last Three (3) years (2021,2022 & 2023) Company Audited Accounts for three (3) years (2021, 2022 & 2023)
Company's Profile;
Evidence of Financial Capability including Bank reference letter indicating willingness to provide credit facility if/when necessary and needed.

Payment for Bidding Documents

A Complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders/vendors upon payment of non-refundable fee of One Hundred Thousand Naira Only (N100, 000.00).

Application Closing Date
30th October, 2024 (12:00 noon).

Bids Submission
Interested and qualified bidders / vendors should address and submit two copies of their tender documents in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Tender document" to:
The Office of the Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Works, Along Gashua,
Damaturu, Yobe State.

Opening of Bids

Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the vendors/bidder's designated representatives at the conference hall of the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works along Gashua, Damaturu by 12:00 noon on the 30th October, 2024
