Malaria Consortium works with communities, government and non-government agencies, academic institutions, and local and international organisations, to ensure good evidence supports delivery of effective services, providing technical support for monitoring and evaluation of programmes and activities for evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning.

Preamble
Malaria Consortium requires health Management Organisation services to provide Emergency services, Outpatient and inpatient services, maternity services, Child Health Services, Surgical services, radiological services, eye care services, dental services, medical check-up, mental health services, fertility services, cancer care and HIV/AIDs Management and other health related services. Health Management Organisation will be required to provide services for a period of twenty-four (24) months.
It is the intent of this RFP to secure competitive proposals from Health Maintenance Organisations for the provision of quality and suitable Health services to over 300 employees of Malaria Consortium for a period of 24 months in the following locations: Abuja, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kogi, Borno, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Niger, Sokoto, Oyo, Osun, Anambra and Yobe states.
The vendor will be responsible for:
- Providing coverage for medical services for twenty-four (24) months for the employee and their spouses and up to 4 children under the age of 21 years.
- Ensuring health care services are carried out by reputable, experienced, and skilled health care personnel with good facilities in a diligent manner and in accordance with the highest industry standard
- Establishing and maintaining a network of credible healthcare providers with good facilities in the above-mentioned states where Malaria Consortium currently works.
- Ensuring ID or access Cards are provided to all staff before the commencement date.
- Providing twenty-four (24) hour service including emergency evacuation
Expected Deliverables
The HMO will be responsible for the following:
- Providing coverage for medical services for twenty-four (24) months for the employee and their spouses and up to 4 children under the age of twenty-one (21) years.
- Ensuring health care services are carried out by reputable, experienced, and skilled health care personnel with good facilities in a diligent manner and in accordance with the highest industry standard.
- Establishing and maintaining a network of credible healthcare providers in the above-mentioned states where Malaria Consortium currently works.
- Ensuring ID or access Cards are provided to all staff before the commencement date.
- Providing 24 hours medical services including emergency evacuation.
- Quick turnaround of issues resolution
- Providing 24-hour customer service
- Provision of designated client support officer
Mandatory Criteria (Non-adherence disqualifies a bid from further consideration)
- Completed Bidder Response Document (BRD) in MC format only
- Signature to confirm compliance with Malaria Consortiums Policies on BRD doc
- Evidence of tax remittance (TAX clearance certificate)
- Copy of business registration documents (proof of legal operation in the country of registration) (CAC Certificate)
- Copy of regulatory body license to act as Health Management Organisation in Nigeria (NSITF)
- Letter of sound financial standing (recent)
- Pricing Proposal, including a full cost breakdown, based on the details provided in this RFP included compulsorily in the BRD doc
