The Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Lafia, is requesting for:

Title: Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for 2020 & 2021 FGN-SUBEB Intervention Projects

Preamble
The Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Lafia hereby invites interested and experienced contractors to express their interest for pre-qualification for the following projects.

Scope of Work
2020 & 2021 FGN-UBEC/SUBEB Intervention Projects:

• Construction of blocks of 2 classrooms with 2 offices
• Construction of blocks of 3 classrooms with 2 offices
• Construction of blocks of 4 classrooms
• Construction of Storey block of 8 classrooms with Offices
• Construction of Perimeter Fence, Gate and Gatehouse
• Construction of a block of 4 compartment toilets (Water system)
• Geophysical Surveys for Boreholes
• Construction of Hand pump Boreholes
• Construction of 4 Compartment Toilets (water system)
• Supply of Pupils Single Seater Plastic Furniture
• Rehabilitation / Renovation of Blocks of Classrooms with offices

Pre-Qualification Requirements
All prospective interested companies shall be required to submit the following pre-qualification documents:

• Evidence of Current Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)
• Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation Issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)including forms CAC 1 or CAC 2 and CAC 7.Business name is also acceptable (for scope that have General Contracts)
• Evidence of Recent Company's Income Tax Clearance Certificate
• Registration as a contractor with the Nasarawa SUBEB
• Verifiable evidence of similar Jobs handled in the last 3 years (Award and Completion Letters in the relevant area of interest for the year 2018, 2019 and 2020) For Furniture, company to include factory location.
• PenCom Certificate
• Industrial Training Fund (ITF)
• Interim Registration Report from Bureau of Public Procurement, BPP

Application Closing Date
31st March, 2022.

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
All pre-qualification documents should be enclosed in a sealed envelope Marked "Year 2020 or 2021 FGN-UBEC/SUBEB Intervention Project" and addressed to:

State Universal Basic Education Board, Lafia,
P.M.B. 050, Shendam Road,
Lafia - Nasarawa State.

• Please note that only successful pre-qualified contractors would be considered to Bid for the relevant proposed projects.
• The Board is not bound to pre-qualify any Bidder and reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring any liability in accordance with the relevant sections of the Public Procurement Act (2007) as amended.
