The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) invites qualified companies / vendors to express interest by tendering EOI documents for the following works:

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, often shortened to simply GIZ, is a German development agency headquartered in Bonn and Eschborn that provides services in the field of international development cooperation and international education work.

Applications are invited for:

Title: Expression of Interest (EOI) - Support to Strengthening Resilience in North-East Nigeria

Preamble

GIZ is looking for qualified companies to establish a shortlist for the supply of school furniture to primary schools in Adamawa and Borno States respectively.

Scope of Work

This tender aim to furnish up to eleven (19) primary schools, one (1) Workshop, one (1) Maternity and five (5) Clinic centers in Adamawa and Borno States under the following lots:

Lot 1: Supply of furniture to three (3) primary schools in Maiha, Adamawa state.
Lot 2: Supply of furniture to three (3) primary schools in MMC, Borno state.
Lot 3: Supply of furniture to three (3) primary schools and four (4) clinic centres in Maiha, Adamawa state.
Lot 4: Supply of furniture to three (3) primary schools in MMC, Borno state.
Lot 5: Supply of furniture to three (3) primary schools and one (1) Maternity centre in Gombi and Mubi South, Adamawa state.
Lot 6: Supply of furniture to one (1) primary school and one (1) Workshop in Biu, Borno state.
Lot 7: Supply of furniture to three (3) primary schools and one (1) clinic center in Mubi North and South, Adamawa state.

EOI Requirements

Accordingly, GIZ invites interested dealers to furnish GIZ Nigeria Country Office with the following:

An official letter expressing their interest to supply school furniture clearly stating the interested lot (maximum of 1 lot per supplier).
A brief company profile showing dearly an address for an office/shop or workshop with staff within the region.
Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) clearly indicating relevant business area.
Proof of successful completion of at least three (3) similar projects within the north-east with a minimum contract value of 2,000,000 NGN for each project or 5,000,000 NGN as a total for the three (3) projects in the last five (5) years with contact details of the clients. Third-party evidence will be considered first i.e., copy of completion certificate.
Evidence of being financially capable to finance such tender by original introductory bank letter.

N/B: Due to the aim to support local communities, only companies from the region are eligible to apply but must meet the above-mentioned criteria.

5:00pm Friday, 4th February, 2022.

Submission of Documents

All interested bidders should submit the aforementioned documents only in hardcopies in a sealed envelope labelled "Expression of Interest 91158183" to:

Asokoro - (FCT) Abuja.

Note

Your complete documents should not be more than 20 pages.
Only complete documents received at the physical address indicated above not later than stated closing date will be accepted and considered.
The shortlist for the successful bidders will be re-used for future tenders in the region.
Do not send price offers, kindly note that complete tender documents would be sent to firms that qualify from expressing their interest.
Delivery duration for all locations will be within 6 weeks and Invoice can only be raised after supply and installation of equipment for all locations per supplier.
