Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Engineering/Architectural Consultants to Oversee/Supervise the Construction of Engineering/Architectural Projects that will be Undertaken by the Government of Edo State

1.) Edo State Government is desirous of undertaking the construction of Engineering & Building Projects (Flood control structures, roads and buildings in the state). In pursuant of this, the State Government is inviting interested, reputable and competent Engineering Consultants and Architectural Consultants for prequalification to undertake the design and supervision of the execution of the construction of the projects to be executed by the contractors.

2.) Eligibility REquirements

To qualify for consideration, interested Engineering Consultancy Companies are requested to submit prequalification documents as follows:

Evidence of incorporation and registration with COREN.

Evidence of registration with Edo State Ministry of Works.

Tax Clearance Certificate for the immediate past three (3) years.

Must State Class of Engineering Consultancy and for.

3.) Also the Architectural Consultancy firms are requested to submit Prequalification documents as follows:

Evidence of incorporation and registration with Architect & Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).

Evidence of registration with Edo State Ministry of Works.

Tax Clearance Certificate for the immediate past three (3) years.

4.) (a) Completed pre-qualification documents must be signed, sealed and clearly marked “Prequalification for registration as Engineering Consultant” or “Architectural Consultant” should be delivered on or before the expiration of two (2) weeks from the date of publication.

(b) Successfully prequalified Consultants will subsequently be invited for the design of projects when available from time to time.

NOTE:

i. that notwithstanding the submission for prequalification of the documents, Edo State Government is neither committed nor obliged to compulsorily give you jobs when they are not available.
ii. that only qualified company shall be shortlisted. No correspondence shall be entered into with unsuccessful consultancy firms.
