The Oyo State Housing Corporation invites competent and qualified contractors and bidders to submit sealed bid documents to tender for the following works:

The Oyo State Housing Corporation is 54 years old. It was created in 1958 and has a staff strength of 2.352. It has succeeded in the provision of housing units and leasing of plots.

Applications are invited for the Following:

Preamble

Oyo State Housing Corporation under the contracts for the Construction of low cost houses at the Corporation estate in Kisi (Irepo LGA) Iseyin (Iseyin LGA), Eruwa (Ibarapa Central LGA) Ogbomosho (Ogbomosho North LGA and Saki (Saki West LGA) as presented in the table below:

Qualification Requirements

Interested and Competent Contractors wishing to carry out the projects as described above will be required to submit the following documents:

Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with the Inclusion of Certificate of Incorporation and Articles of Association.
Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three years.(2018,2019,2020)
Possession of experience as a Prime Contractor in at least (2) projects of similar nature and complexity with verifiable letter of contract award and certificate of job Completion within the last Five (5) years.
Detailed Company profile and Organisation structure including names and telephone Numbers of key personnel (Technical/Managerial).
Evidence of financial capability. (Reference letter from reputable bank)
Bid Security.
Copies of VAT Registration with TIN number and evidences of VAT remittances for the last 3 years (2018-2020).
Company's Audited Accounts for the last three years. (2018-2020).
Evidence of 3 years development levy for two directors.
Evidence of registration with Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).

Application Closing Date

4th October, 2021.

Collection of Bidding Document

A complete set of Bidding document in English Language may be collected by interested bidders at the address below, upon the submission of a written application to the Corporation. The Bidding Document may be collected by hand or sent by Courier at bidder's expense.

Bid Opening

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend a date to be communicated to the bidders.

Submission of Bidding Documents

One (1) original copy and other copies of the bids are to be delivered in sealed Envelope clearly marked "Development Of Estate" and addressed to:

Bodija Estate Ibadan,

Oyo State.

Note

Bids must be accompanied by a bid security (original) obtained from a reputable bank.
Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the Oyo State Public Procurement Guidelines for Works and are open to all bidders as defined in the guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding document at the Corporation (Office of the Chairman) at Oyo State Housing Corporation Bodija.

Important Information

All Claims must be adequately substantiated with documents and must be verifiable.
The Corporation shall deal directly with only the authorized officers of interested Companies and not with their agents.
This bidding exercise shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the Corporation to award the contracts to anyone or even award any contracts at all.
The Corporation will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party (i.e) in connection with site inspections or responses to this invitation.
The Corporation reserves the right to annul the selection process at any time without incurring any liability and attributing any reason thereof.
Evidence of financial capability/reference letter from a reputable Banker
Sworn affidavit disclosing:
- Whether or not any officer of Oyo State government has financial interest with bidder and confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.
- That the company is not in receivership, the subject of any form of insolvent bankruptcy proceedings nor subject of any form of winding up petition or proceedings.
- That non of any of the directors have been convicted in any country for criminal offences relating to fraud or financial impropriety of Criminal misrepresentation or falsification of to any matter.
Letter of consent to allow for Verification of all the documents submitted.
Evidence of payment of non-refundable fee of N100,000.00 into Oyo State Housing Corporation revenue account 6003203920 of Heritage Bank.
(ach submission should be accompanied with detailed specifications as required in the bid documents.
Late submission will be rejected.
