The National Institute of Surveyors (NIS) invites interested and reputable contractors to indicate their interest by submitting tender documents for the following works:

The Nigerian Institution of Surveyors is perhaps one of the oldest organized Professional bodies in Nigeria. It started in 1934 as the “Licensed Surveyors Association” under the leadership of the late Nationalists, Herbert Heelas Macaulay.

In 1960, the name was changed to the “Land Surveyors Association of Nigeria” with the late Surv. C.T. Olumide as Chairman. The current name - ” The Nigerian Institution of Surveyors” was adopted at the Enugu Conference in 1960 with the late Surv. C.T. Olumide elected President.

Preamble

Nigerian Institution of Surveyors, Enugu State Branch intends to build a Plaza Complex at 118 Colliery Avenue, opposite Surveyors House, Enugu North LGA Enugu State. Interested, reputable contractors are hereby invited to pre-qualification and tender for the construction

Pre-Qualification and Tender Requirements

Tenders shall be accompanied by the following:

Evidence of Registration with CAC including forms CAC2 and CAC7.
Evidence of Registration with MOW & I, Enugu State in Category C and D.
Current 3 years Tax Clearance Certificate.
Company's Current Audited Financial Reports for last 3 years from a Chartered Accounting Firm.
Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance.
Summary of Company's Current Account Statements from bank for the last 3 years (2018, 2019,2020).
Authority to Verify information of the Company's Financial status
Bank Reference from a reputable bank.
Company's Corporate Profile.
List of at least 5 key personnel.
Name, Curriculum Vitae, Academic Certificates of at least 5 No Principal Officers (3 Civil Engineers with COREN, Architect, Quantity Surveyor & CORBON).
Evidence of verifiable No similar Jobs Experience (Award Letters =3, Completion Certificates 3).
List of Plants and equipment, attached evidence of ownership.

Application Closing Date

12:00 noon, 30th September, 2021.

Collection of Tender Documents

Complete set of Bidding Documents shall be collected by interested qualified Companies from the NIS Office, 25/27 Colliery Avenue, G.R.A. Enugu, on submission of non-refundable tender fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000) only in certified Bank Draft payable in NIS Enugu State Branch between the hours 9:00am to 3:00pm from Wednesday, 22nd September to Thursday, 30th September 2021.

Opening of Bid and Pre-Qualification Documents

Time: 1.00pm.

Date: Tuesday, 5th October 2021.

Venue: NIS Office, 25/27 Colliery Avenue.

Submission of Tender Documents

Completed tender should be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked "BID for Construction of NIS PLAZA-on top left comer, and addressed to the:

NIS Chairman,

Enugu State Branch,

NIS Office, 25/27 Colliery Avenue,

Enugu State.

N/B: The name of the Contractor should be clearly written in Capital Letters at the back of the Envelope. All submissions must be sealed and late bids will be rejected.
