The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) invites reputable bidders to submit sealed bids for the following works:

Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) - Established on May 28th, 1975 via the treaty of Lagos, ECOWAS is a 15-member regional group with a mandate of promoting economic integration in all fields of activity of the constituting countries.

Considered one of the pillars of the African Economic Community, ECOWAS was set up to foster the ideal of collective self-sufficiency for its member states. As a trading union, it is also meant to create a single, large trading bloc through economic cooperation.

Title: Invitation to Bid for Local Competitive Bidding for the Purchase of ECOMIG Operational Needs

Preamble

The ECOWAS Commission, within the framework of the execution of its 2021 budget intends to carry out the purchase of ECOMIG operational needs.

The ECOWAS Commission now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of ECOMIG operational needs.

Collection of Document

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the:

Procurement Division of the Directorate of General Administration,

1st Floor ECOWAS Commission,

101 Yakubu Gowon Crescent,

Asokoro District,
PMB 401,

F.C.T - Abuja.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchase by interested bidders upon Submission of a written application addressed to the Directorate of General administration and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty thousand Naira only (N20,000).

Opening of Bids

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend, on Thursday, September 23rs, 2021 at 11:30 am, ECOWAS Commission, Plot 101, Yakubu Gowon Crescent, Asokoro District Procurement Meeting Room, 1st floor.

Application Closing Date

11:00am Thursday, 23rd September, 2021.

Submission of Document

Bids should be delivered in a sealed envelope and deposited in the ECOWAS Tender Box located in:

Bids should be clearly marked "Local Competitive Bidding for the Purchase of ECOMIG Operational Needs, Do Not Open, Except in Presence of the Procurement Committee", bidders should clearly indicate Price, Specifications, Delivery Period, Bid Validity Period and Bid Security Validity Period as these will determine the acceptance of bids received.

Note: Bids must be accompanied by an Original Bid Security (bank guarantee or insurance bond) of Two Hundred Thousand Naira Only (N200,000.00).
