Title: Expression of Interest for the Provision of Logistics Services
Preamble
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Nigeria would like to contract reputable and licensed Transport Companies, Clearing and Forwarding Agents, Fumigation Companies, Warehouse management Companies, Animal Feed Buyers and Industrial soap manufacturers nationwide for provision of correspondent services to support its operations in Nigeria.
Scope of Work
- Provision of Logistics Services
Also, WFP is looking for storage facility to rent, as specified below:
- Storage facility of large capacity (over 20,000 square meters) in Maiduguri
- Storage facility of medium capacity (over 10,000 square meters) in Kano
- Storage facility of medium capacity (over 5,000 square meters) in Damaturu
- Storage facility of medium capacity (over 3,000 square meters) in Port Harcourt
Proposed storage facility must meet WFPs storage criteria and standard and criteria
Eligibility Requirements
Potential vendors must have:
- A legal registered company with relevant authorities (must provide the CAC certificate
- Valid operations licenses, relevant approvals,
- Truck licenses administrative documentations and all relevant equipment to provide the specified services.

Important Notice
- Please note that this is not a contract or an Invitation to Tender. Rates/prices are not required at this stage, and this invitation does not bind the World Food Programme to issue any tenders or contracts to the companies expressing their interest.
- Shortlisting of companies does not bind WFP to offer a service award at any time.
- ALL existing logistic service providers - transporters, C&F agents and fumigation companies etc are required to participate in this exercise.
- For the procurement of vegetable oil and commodities declared unfit for human consumption by the authorities; WFP is requesting buyers for these commodities that are fit for use as animal feed and fit for production of industrial soap to express interest for commodities they are interested in buying.
