The National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos commenced operations as a rehabilitation center for wounded soldiers during World War II in 1943, after which it developed to a hospital under the British Colonial Medical services of Colonial Nigeria in 6 December 1945.
The hospital, initially named the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in 1956 was also instrumental in treating wounded soldiers and civilians of the Nigerian Civil war of 1967-1970.
The hospital was handed over to the Lagos State Government in 1975 and subsequently the Federal Government in 1979.

The National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi-Lagos (NOHIL) hereby invites interested reputable Companies with good track record of performance and experience to bid for Supply of New Digital 11KV Panel to Nohil Main Powerhouse.
Eligibility Requirements
Prospective bidders must possess the under-listed requirement to be eligible in the procurement:
- Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C).
- Evidence of current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
- Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate.
- Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (ERR) or valid Certificate issued by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP),Abuja.
- Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate.
- Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund fNSITF) Compliance Certificate,
- Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years.
- Evidence of verifiable relevant experience in executing similar projects.
- Current affidavit disclosing:-
- That the company is not in receivership, insolvent, or bankrupt.
- That the company does not have any Director who has ever been convicted in any court in Nigeria or any other country for criminal offence in relation to fraud or financial impropriety.
- Whether or not any officer of the relevant Committee of the NOHIL orBPP is a fonneror present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidding.
- That all documents submitted for the bidding are true and correct in all particulars.
Collection of Bidding Documents
Interested and competent bidders are requested to collect bid documents from the office of the Head of Procurement Department, upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only using Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Payment account details as follows:

Opening of Bids
The submitted bids will be opened on 10:00am Monday, 20th September, 2021.
At the Hospital’s Old Board Room. Bidders/Company representatives and interested members of the public including relevant professional bodies, Civil Society and Non- Governmental Organizations are hereby invited to witness the public opening of the technical bids.
Application Closing Date
4:00pm Friday, 17th September, 2021.
Any bid received after the stated date and time shall not be considered.
Submission of Bidding Documents
Prospective Bidders shall enclose their technical documents in a separate envelop (marked Technical) and the financial bid in another envelope (marked Financial) and the two separate envelopes shall be enclosed in one sealed outer envelope, in six (6) sets; one (1) original and five (5) copies. Submissions should be addressed to:

The completed and sealed bid documents should contain the bidder’s name on the reverse side of the envelope and be deposited in Tender Box in the Procurement Department between the hours 8am-4pm Monday-Friday.
Please Note That
- Technical and Financial bids enclosed in one and same single envelope that will expose the Technical and Financial bid at the same time of opening shall be disqualified.
- The Evaluation shall be strictly based on the requirements specified above.
