The Green Habitat Initiative (GHI) invites eligible architecture and engineering firms to indicate interest by submitting RFP documents for the following projects:

Green Habitat Initiative (GHI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability in Nigeria. Our mission is to support the promotion, adoption and implementation of sustainable policies and frameworks in order to protect and conserve our environment. The current focus of our mission is on Sustainable Development Goals number 6 (clean water and and sanitation for all), 11 (sustainable cities and communities), and 13 (climate action).

Preamble

Green Habitat Initiative (GHI), a not-for-profit organization, is currently receiving a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) grant to implement a WASH project (The Project for Improved Sustainability of Integrated WASH Services) in Kebbi State.

GHI intends to apply part of the grant for- architectural and engineering design for WASH facilities for the Project.

Scope of work

Eligible architecture and engineering firms are hereby invited to submit a proposal for the provision of Architectural and Engineering Design for WASH services in Kebbi States as follows:

14 solar-powered motorized for pen-urban towns
10 Four Compartment (two for each gender respectively) VIP Latrines
10 Handwashing Point with limited contact
20 Rehabilitation works for non-functional boreholes (motorized and hand pumps).
Feasibility Study and Geophysical/Geo-technical Survey.
