The Gwagwalada Area Council wishes to invite qualified and experienced contractors / developers to submit pre-qualification documents for the following projects:

Gwagwalada is an area council in the Federal Capital Territory in Nigeria. Gwagwalada is also the name of the main city in the Local Government Area, which has an area of 1,043 km2 and a population of 157,770 at the 2006 census.

Preamble

The Gwagwalada Area Council intends to engage the services of credible and reputable cornpanies/contractors and developers for works under the year 2021.

Therefore, the Area council wishes to invite response from contractors/ developers for Pre-quaiifulication / tender for the construction of Tailer Park and Bus Terminal through Public Private Partnership scheme designating 52 hectares of land at the Gwako axis, University of Abuja-Nigeria.

Scope of Work

Construction of Trailer Park
Construction of Bus Terminal

Eligibility Criteria

Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Certificate of incorporation and Article of Associaoon.
Last three years (3) Tax clearance certificate.
VAT registration with evidence of remittance.
Comprehensive company profile.
List of similar job executed previously.
Verifiable evidence of financial support by reputable bank.
Audited Account details for the last three (3) years.
Evidence of pension registration and remittances..
Certificate of compliance with sections 6 (1) - (3) of the industrial training fund Amendment Act-2011.

Collection of Tender Documents

Tender documents are to be collect from Works Department upon presentation of evidence of payment of non- refundable tender fees of N30,000:00 to the Council.

12:00pm, 8th September, 2021.

Application Closing Date

12:00pm. 8th September, 2021.

Submission of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents

Interested bidders are to come for pre-qualifcation and collection tender documents in two different sealed envelopes approprialely marked "Pre-qualification" and Tender with the Company’s name indicated at the back of each envelope.

Both envelope marked at the top right hand corner and addressed to the Secretary Tender Board and to be deposited in the Tender Board Box placed in:

Conference Hall,

Gwagwalada Area Council Secretariat,

(FCT), Abuja.

Conclusion

The tenders Board will as part of Its due diligence verify the authenticity of claims made in the documents submitted. The tender Board will not be responsible for any cost or expenses Incurred by any Interest In connection with any response of the invitation.
The tenders Board is not bound to shortiist any bidder for non compliance with the relevant guideline and reserve the right to annul the selection process at any time without incurring liabilities.
The Tenders Board reserves the right to reject any tender in part or in full for non compliance with the relevance guidelines and is not bound to accept the lowest tender.
