Contractors Needed at the Niger State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Minna

The Niger State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Minna wish to advertise the 2017 capital projects for both the Senior Secondary and Tertiary levels of Education.
The scope of work involves Whole School Development Approach renovation of selected schools as part of the commitment of the present administration, under the leadership of AIhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, provide for improved access, equity and quality education in the State.

A. Senior Secondary Schools:

• Government Technical College, Kontagora.
• Government Technical College Eyagi Bida.
• Suleiman Barau Technical College Suleje.
• Government Vocational Training Center Jebba.
• Government Vocational Training Center, Minna.
• Government Vocational Training Center Rijau.
• Ube Model Secondary School Kontagora.
• Ahmadu Bahago Secondary School Minna.
• Gov't Day Secondary School Suleja Permanent Site.
• Day Secondary School Ibbi.
• Ndayako Day Secondary School Bida.
• Government Girls Day Secondary School Lapai.

B.Tertiary Institutions:

• School of Health Technology, Tungan Magajiya.
• School of Midwifry, Minna.
• School of Nursing, Bida.

Interested contractors/companies that wish to tender for the proposed projects should fulfill the following requirements:

• Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
• Up to date registration as a contractor with Niger State Public Procurement Board.
• Evidence of Financial, Technical and Managerial capability to handle the project.
• Verifiable list of similar and other project undertaken and completed in the last 3 years, stating location, completion dates and evidence of completion.
• Tax clearance for the past 3 years.
• Audited account for the last 3 years/annual turnover.
• Customer service reference letter from your banker.
• Vat registration and evidence of past VAT remittance.
• Company profile including names of key professional staff and their responsibility.

Documents for prequalification should be submitted not later than 4 weeks from the date of this publication to:
