The Nigerian Law Reform commission here by invites interested consultants and contractors to submit technical and financial bids for the projects .
The Nigerian Law Reform Commission was established in 1979 by the Nigerian Law Reform Commission Act CAPN118 LFN 2004, The functions of the Commission as set our in Sections 5 and 7 of the Act are generally to keep under review all Federal Laws with a view to their systematic and progressive development and reform in consonant with the prevailing norms of the Nigerian society.
The commission hereby invites interested consultants and contractors to submit technical and financial bids for the Projects as contained in the 2017 Appropriation Act.

Description of Projects
LOT 1: Reform of the Patents and Designs Act Cap. P2 LFN 2004
- Consultancy for the Development of a Working Paper on the Reform of the Patents and Designs Act Cap. P2 LFN 2004.
- Consultancy for the housing of a National Conference on the Reform of the Patents and Designs Act.
LOT 2: Reform of Tax Laws in Nigeria:
- Consultancy for the Development of a Working Paper on Review of Company Income Tax.
- Consultancy for the Development of a Working document on Reform of Personal Income Tax.
- Consultancy for the Reform of Value Added Tax.
- Consultancy for the Review of Capital Gains Tax.
- Consultancy for the Development of a Working Document on the Introduction of Property Tax in Nigeria.
LOT 3: Upgrading of ICT and Network Support Infrastructure
- Upgrading of Commission's LAN infrastructure.
- Supply, Installation and Commissioning of e-Vouchering Software and Hardware infrastructure.
LOT 4: Consultancies for the Revision of the Laws of the Federation
LOT 5: Consultancy for Advocacy & Sensitization on drugs abuse at Gunimi & Bukkuyum in Zamfara State:
Mandatory Requirements
- Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Compliance Certificate issued by PENCOM.
- Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2014, 2015,2016).
- Evidence of Registration on the Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) National Data Base of Contractors, Consultant and Service Providers.
- Industrial Training Fund (ITF)Certificate(2016).
- Verifiable proof of similar jobs done(where applicable).
Other Requirements
- Evidence of financial Capability front a reputable bank.
- A sworn affidavit confirming that all information presented and attached are true and correct and that NO Officer of the Nigerian Law Reform Commission is a former or present director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest the bidder.
