Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors and Tender for the Years 2009, 2011 and 2013 Merged at Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke

Following the approval of the Tertiary Education Fund, Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke wishes to undertake the pre-qualification of interested contractors/ suppliers to tender for its years 2009, 2011 and 2013 merged TETFUND Library Development project.

Inteested and reputable contractors / suppliers are hereby invited to apply for pre-qualification to tender for the following projects;

Lots: Description of the Project
LOT 1: Procurement of assorted textbooks and journals (TETF/POLY/ ESA OKE/L1131 3/01)
LOT 2: Installation of KOHA Integrated Library packaged E-Library System and Search Portal (TETF/POLY/ ESA OKE/LIB 13102).
LOT 3: Procurement of HP PRO 3500 Intel Dual core 2.4 HZ 500 G.B. WIN 8 PRO 18.5 LCD Monitor (TETF/POLY/ ESA-OKE/LIB13/03)
LOT 4: LAN Connection of the E-Libraty (TETF/POLY/ ESA OKEILIB 13/04)
LOT 5: Procurement of Printing Machine and other accessories (TETF/POLY/ ESA OKE/LIB 13/05)
LOT 6: Procurement of Furniture and Sundry Items (TETF/POLY/ ESA OKE/LIB 13/06)

Pre-Qualification Requirements

1. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Evidence of registration with Government of the State of Osun in the appropriate catenory
3. Evidence of registration as a contractor with Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke in the appropriate category
4. Tax Clearance Certificate for 3 years i.e. 2011 - 2013
5. A Comprehensive Company’s profile with resume of Principal Officers
6. Verifiable evidence of previous experience and completion of similar jobs
7. Evidence of VAT registration and past remittances
8. Reference letter from a reputable bank stating that Contractor/Supplier has the financial ability to secure the requisite funding for the execution of the prolects.
9. Evidence of payment of Osun State Capital Development Levy
10. Evidence of Compliance with the New Pension Scheme Evidence of Compliance with provision of the Industrial Training Fund Amendment Act 2011
11. Evidence of the Company’s three (3) years audited Accounts i.e. 2011 to 2013
12. A sworn Affidavit indicating that all documents submitted are genuine and verifiable
13. Payment of non-refundable pre-qualification /Tcnder fee of fifty thousand naira (N50, 000) each for LOTS 1, 3, 5 & 6 and twenty thousand naira (N20. 000) each for LOTS 2 and 4 to the Bursary.

Only contractors that have proven capacity, relevant and good records of accomplishments should respond as consideration of bids submitted would be based on satisfactory assessment of the prequalification documents.
Contractors/suppliers with verifiable uncompleted/abandoned projects need not apply.

Collection of Pre-Qualification Form and Bid Documents

• Pre-qualification and Tender forms will be available for collection between 8.00am and 4.00pm from Monday to Friday in the office of the Director (Works and Services Dept.) upon the payment of the appropriate non-refundable fee at the Bursary Department covering both Pre-qualification and bid documents.
• Interested contractors/suppliers are advised to come with Flash Drive to copy the Bid documents that must be returned along with the Hard Copy at the time of submission.

Closing Date:
9th January 2015

Submission of Pre-Qualification/Bid Documents
All duly completed and pre-qualification documents (in triplicate) should be spiral banded and submitted in sealed envelopes with LOT number at the top right hand corner and ten(10) copies of bid documents must be serially numbered, spirally bound and duly signed on each page. Completed bid documents should be in two separately sealed envelopes labelled "Technical” and "Financial” (2 envelop system) both put in a bigg er envelope clearly marked “invitation to tender for 2013 TETFund Library Development Projects and addressed to:

The document should be hand delivered to the office of the Bursar on or before 9th January, 2015. This means that prequalification and tender will come up on Monday 12th January, 2015.

Verification of Claims in Pre-Qualification Documents
The Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke reserves the right to verify the authenticity of claims made in pre-qualification documents submitted.

N.B: The College is not bound to pre-qualify any contractor. Failure to comply with any of the instruction above or provide any of the listed documents will automatically lead to disqualification.
