The College of Education, Gindiri in compliance with the requirements of the Public Procurement Act of the Federal Government of Nigeria, hereby invites interested and reputable contractors with proven competence, experience and global track record, for pre-qualification and tender of our 2013 TETFUND Special Intervention Project for the Construction of Female Hostel Development with External Works.

Pre-Qualification Criteria
Interested Contractors are invited to submit the following prequalification documents with verifiable evidence including, but not limited to the following:

1. Evidence of registration with the College as a contractor
2. Evidence of incorporation of company by Corporate Affairs Commission;
3. Evidence of the Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three years;
4. Company’s Audited Account for the past three years;
5. Evidence of VAT registration;
6. Company profile and organizational structure with list and resumes of technical staff;
7. Evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act;
8. Evidence of compliance with ITF Amendment Act 2011;
9. List of similar jobs executed with evidence of names of Clients and Letters of Award;
10. Evidence of fmancial capability and banking support; and
11. Any other document that will enhance the potential of the company.

Verification of Claims
Please note that the College of Education Gindiri Plateau State reserves the right to verify claims made in the Prequalification documents submitted by interested contractors.

Collection of Tender Documents
The tender documents and additional information can be obtained from the Registrar’s office of the college.

Submission of Pre-Qualification & Tender Documents
All Pre-qualification and tender submissions should be in duplicate copies (with the original marked “original copy”) and sealed in separate envelopes enclosed in a common envelope. All envelopes must be wax sealed and bear the project title at the top right hand corner. The company name should be indicated on the reverse side of the envelope and addressed to: -

These documents should be dropped in the Tender Box situated in the Registrar’s Office not later than 12 noon Friday, 5th of December, 2014.

Opening of Pre-Qualification & Tender Documents
The pre-qualification and tender documents will be opened same day on Friday, December 05th, 2014 at 12:00 noon in the College Boardroom, at the expiration of the time allowed for submission of documents. All the Tenderers and the general public are invited to witness the opening exercise, in line with Due Process requirements.

Successful bidder shall be notified to collect the award letter.

The College shall not enter into correspondence with any unsuccessful bidder.
