Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors and Call to Tender for Procurement in Respect of Normal TETFund Library Development for 2009-2012 and 2013 Special Intervention at Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe

In compliance with the requirements of Due Process for certification of procedure for procurement of goods, the Management of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe desires to pre-qualify competent suppliers for the execution of the underlisted and approved normal and SPECIAL intervention projects.

Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors and Call to Tender for Procurement in Respect of Normal TETFund Library Development for 2009-2012 and 2013 Special Intervention 

Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested bidders are invited to submit the following compulsory and mandatory documents:

1. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Evidence of Tax clearance Certificate of the firm for the last three years i.e 2011-2013
3. Company audited account in the last 3 years ie 2011-2013.
4. Evidence of VAT Registration.
5. Evidence of PENCOM registration and remittance,
6. Evidence of Registration as a contractor with the college.
7. Evidence of Registration as a contractor with Anambra State Government.
8. Evidence of financial capability (bid bond) from your Bank.
9. Corporate profile of the firm showing technical competence of personnel.
10. Evidence of performance on similar projects and contract award letters.
11. Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund amended Act 2011.

All the above requirements should be arranged in the ORDER above. Failure to provide all will automatically disqualify the bidder.

Collection and Submission of Bid Documents
Interested bidders are requested to obtain the bid documents from the office of the Registrar, on payment of a non- refundable Bid/Tender fee of N50,000 (fifty thousand naira only) per LOT in bank draft and addressed to Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe or into the College Account Number 2018085675 of First Bank. Completed tender documents should be submitted to the office of the Registrar in two sealed envelops (one for the pre-qualification and one for the bid) not later than Friday 5th December, 2014.

The pre-qualification sealed envelope should be marked at the top left corner: eg ‘Pre-qualification for Procurement of Textbooks and Journals’, while the sealed envelope containing the tender documents must be marked at the left corner, Tender Documents for the Procurement of Textbooks and Journals’. Companies submitting the pre-qualification and tender documents should write the name, mobile phone number of contact person and the name of the company at the bottom left corner of the two envelopes.
The two envelopes (Pre-qualification and Tender) should be addressed to:

Note:
The pre-qualification and tender documents will be opened on 9th December, 2014 in the Council Chamber. All those who submitted their documents or their representative by the deadline, are hereby invited to the meeting for opening of the pre-qualification and tender documents.
Only the tender documents of pre-qualified contractors will be opened.

Contractors are urged to adhere strictly to all instructions as non-compliance may disqualify the bidder.

Verification of Claims.
The College reserves the right to verify the claim made by the contractors in their pre-qualification document.
