Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Year 2011/2012/2013 (Merged) Tetfund Normal Intervention at the Osun State College of Education

Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun is hereby inviting reputable contractors and suppliers to submit pre-qualification documents for the under- listed years 2011/2012/2013 (Merged) Tertiary Education Trust Fund Special Intervention.

Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Year 2011/2012/2013 (Merged) Tetfund Normal Intervention 

Project: Lot 1: Construction of Two (2) Storey Millenium: Three (3 No.) 250 Seater
Lecture Halls Block with Four (4No.) Lecture halls per Block
Project: Lot 2: Supply and Deliver to site 3000 No. Lecture hall Furniture i.e. Chairs with writing Tables (to include installations).
Project: Lot 3: Supply of Furniture for Academic Staff Offices:

• 10 No. Executive Tables (Centre Glass Top) and Chairs
• 50 No. Office Leather Chairs and Tables
• 50 No. Office Book Cabinets and
• 120 No. Sets of Visitors Chairs.

Pre-Qualification Requirements:
Prospective contractors shall be required to submit the following prequalification documents.

1. Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
2. List and Resume of Management and Key Staff (Technical) and photocopies of academic qualification certificates and evidence of registration with the relevant Professional Bodies.
3. Evidence of Registration with PENCOM
4. Letter of Financial Reference from a reputable Bank and consent to allow for verification with Bankers.
5. A declaration of a sworn affidavit that none of the Directors has been convicted in any court for any criminal offence including fraud or financial impropriety.
6. Evidence of payment of Education Tax.
7. Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
8. Evidence of VAT registration and past VAT remittance.
9. Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness and solvency (Reference Letter, Statement of Account e.t.c).
10. Evidence of Audited Accounts of the Company for the last three (3) years.
11. Evidence of similar projects successfully executed with their location (copies of letters of award, certificate of completion e.t.c to be attached).
12. Evidence of payment of appropriate non-refundable processing fee:

• Lot 1: N100, 000.00
• Lot 2: 20,000.00
• Lot 3: 20,000.00 at the Bursary Department.

Verification of Claims:
Please note that Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun reserves the right to verify daims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted by the interested contractors.

Closing Date:
1st December 2014

Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents:
Pre-qualification documents should be neatly packaged in a sealed envelope and to be clearly marked “PreQualification for 2011/2012/2013 (Merged) TETFUND Normal Intervention in specified lot as indicated above (Indicate the specific project) at the top left hand corner of the envelope which should be addressed to the Secretary, Tenders Committee, Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun.

It should be submitted not later than 1st December, 2014.

The contact person’s name, GSM number and contact address should be indicated at the back of the sealed envelope.

Please Note That:
Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun is not bound to pre-qualify any contractor or contractors. Only the successful pre-qualified contractors would be required to proceed with the submission of the main tenders documents.

This invitation for pre-qualification is NOT an invitation to tender for the projects.
