Invitation to Tender for the construction of Water and Sanitation facilities at the Government of Cross River State of Nigeria Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWATSSA)

The Government of Cross River State hereby invites tenders from reputable contractors for the construction of Water and Sanitation facilities in Yakurr and Boki Local Government Areas through the State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWATSSA) under the State Ministry of Water Resources and supported by the European Union (EU) and UNICEF under the Rural component of the Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Refonn Programme (WSSSRP II).

Invitation to Tender for the construction of Water and Sanitation facilities 

Scope

• Construction of 10 No. Hand pumps fitted with force lift pumps in schools, 13 No Hand Pump boreholes in communities and 14 Solar Powered Water Supply Facilities complete with Fence and sign post in communities.
• Construction of 18 units 3- compartment Pour Flush latrines in 10 schools, and 20 Units 3- compartment Pour Flush Latrines in public places in Yakurr and Boki LGA, Cross River State.

Mandatory Requirements
Companies interested in the project must submit company profiles which will include the following:

1. Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission(CAC)
2. Current tax Clearance Certificate:
3. Current Tax Clearance Certificate of at least 2 directors or proprietor(s)
4. Evidence of Registration with the State Due Process Office as a Contractor
5. Company’s Audited Financial Account (Indicating turnover) and funding information over 3 years endorsed by a firm of Chartered Accountants:
6. Evidence of Financial capability from a reputable Bank(s)
7. Company’s Profile, organogram and resume of relevant Key Technical staff including individual attestation of Availability, include copies of professional certificates with seal and endorsement.
8. Verifiable evidence of similar projects previously undertaken, including letters of Awards and completion certificates within the past three (3) Years, indicate financial Value of these similar Projects:
9. Description and list of relevant Equipment owned by contractor/supplier: include proof of ownership or lease or license of equipment
10. Any Additional information that will enhance the potential of the Contractor/Supplier.

Collection of Tender Documents and Company Profiles
Interested Bidders are to collect Bid Documents from the office of the Programme Manager, Cross River State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency,(RUWATSSA), 147 Ndidem Usang Iso Road, Calabar on Payment of tender fee of FiftyThousand Naira( N50,000.00). The Tender fee is to be paid into the agency’s UBA Account whose No is available in the Account Section and bid documents can be collected on presentation of stamped payment teller. Collection of tender documents shall commence from Monday 17th November 2014 between 900am -330pm daily, except weekends and public holidays.

Submission of Tender Documents and Company Profiles
Completed Tender Documents and company Profiles, which shall be in 5 copies (one Oginal and four photocopies) with soft copies in a DVD (containing excel copy of the completed BOQ and PDF Copies of the other bid documents) are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the company’s bid Invitation Number at the Top Right Hand Corner of the envelope and addressed to The Programme Manager, Cross River State Rural water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWATSSA), 147, Ndidem Usang Iso Road, Calabar. Sealed Envelopes will be received at RU WATSSA office until 12.00 noon 17th November 2014 to 1st December 2014. Bid opening shall follow immediately after (12.30pm) in the cànference Room of the Agency, 147, Ndidem Usang Iso Road; Calabar. The Representatives of the bidders and the general Public are invited to witness the public opening of Bids.
