The Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, invites reputable and competent Contractors/Suppliers for the Pre-qualification and Tendering exercise for the following TETFUND Normal Intervention projects.

Invitation for Pre-qualification of Contractors and Tending Exercise for the Execution of TETFUND, Year 2012/2013 Merged Normal Intervention Projects in the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin

Project Lots: Project Titles
LOT A: Construction of a block of Lecture Hall Complex.
LOT B: Construction and Furnishing of Auditorium.
LOT C: Construction of Centre for Research and Information.
LOT D: Construction of Lecture Hall at Main Campus.
LOT E: Procurement and Installation of Teaching and Research Equipment for the Institute of Environmental Studies.
LOT F: Procurement and Installation of Teaching and Research Equipment for the Institute of Technology Laboratories.
LOT G: Procurement and Installation of reaching and Research Equipment for the Institute of Applied Sciences.

Eligibility Requirements
Interested Contractors/Suppliers are expected to show evidence of the following to be eligible for pre-qualification evaluations:
Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

1. Evidence of Registration with the Polytechnic for the year 2014
2. Evidence of Tax Clearance in the last three years i.e 2011, 2012 and 2013.
3. VAT registration and Evidence of past VAT remittance.
4. Evidence of Registration with Pencom Act 2004
5. Evidence of Registration with ITF.
6. Detailed Company Profile with key technical staff that will be involved in the Project.
7. Verifiable list of Equipment/Machineries owned by the Company.
8. Evidence of verifiable list of similar jobs or supplies successfully executed by the company in the last three years.
9. Evidence of financial capability and support letter(s) from a reputable bank.
10. Companys audited account in the last three years
11. Evidence of payment of Pre-qualification fee.
12. Evidence of Registration with relevant government ministries/agencies.
13. Annual returns for the corporate Affairs Commission
14. A sworn Affidavit confirming that all information presented and attached are true and correct of the company.

Pre-Qualification and Tender Fees
The payments of the stipulated non-refundable fee indicated against each LOT below should be made through a Bank Draft payable to Kwara State Polytechnic, llorin or by paying cash to the Bursary Department, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.

LOT A - N35, 000.00
LOT B - N50, 000.00
LOT C - N25, 000.00
LOT D - N15, 000.00
LOT E - N20, 000.00
LOT F - N10, 000.00
LOT G - N25, 000.00

Each LOT shall attract non-refundable fee as specified above.

Submission of Pre-Qualification and Tender Documents
Pre-qualification documents as listed above and Tender documents should be neatly bound in wax-sealed envelope and marked “Pre-qualification/Tender documents for Lot...” (with Project title and LOT Number) written at the right hand corner and submitted to:

To reach him not later than 12.00 noon on Monday, 10th November, 2014.

Opening
All received Pre-qualification and Tender documents shall be opened on Thursday 6th November, 2014 at the Conference Room, Central Administration Complex, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Kwara Sate by 1.00pm prompt.
All Bidders and interested members of the public are invited to witness the opening exercise.

• Nothing in this advert shall be construed to be a commitment by Kwara State Polytechnic.
• Failure to comply with any of the above instruction or provide any of the above listed documents may automatically result in disqualification.
