Request for Expression of Interest for Facility Management Services and Cleaning, Gardening & Fumigation Services at (Sec Nigeria) Securities and Exchange Commision, Nigeria
The Commission intends to engage the services at Facility Management and Cleaning & Gardening Services for its Head office complex located in the Central Business District of Abuja.
The Commission hereby invites interested and reputable companies with relevant experience and good track records to submit necessary documents for consideration as follows.
Scope of Work
Lot 1: Facility Management Services
- Maintenance air conditioners, lifts, fire-fighting equipments, boreholes, and water pump, plumbing and sanitory fittings, generators and electrical panels.
- Maintenance of CCTV and other electronics facilities.
- Repairs of civil, mechanical and electrical installations.
Lot 2: Cleaning, Gardening & Fumigation Services.
- General cleaning of the property and premises.
- Maintenance of external surrounding, landscaping and gardening.
- Fumigation and pest control.
Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested bidders are required to submit the following:
- Certificate of incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including a certified true copy of particulars of the Directors.
- Company’s Audited Account for the last three years (2011, 2012 and 2013), duly stamped by Licensed Auditors.
- Tax Clearance Certificate for the Last three 3) years (2O11 2012 and 2013).
- Value Added Tax Certificate (VAT Certificate).
- Evidence of financial capability to execute the jobs (Bank guarantees).
- List and verifiable evidence of similar jobs being handled, stating values, clients and reference persons.
- List of suitable equipements for maintenance of high rise buildings (owned or tobe leased, stating their present locations).
- Company’s profile/visible location, CV’s of key personnel, showing experience and technical qualification(s).
- Evidence of compliance with the provisions of the Pension Reforms Act 2004 including remittances of Employees’ Pension Contributions/Deductions.
- Compliance with the requirements of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF)
- Payment of N20,000 non refundable fee, with a crossed bank draft (payable to Securities and Exchange Commission).
- Any other relevant information.

Submission of Tenders
Interested bidders are expected to enclose the technical bid in a separate sealed envelope and the financial bid in another sealed envelope distinctively labeled, while the two envelopes should be put in a bigger sealed envelope.
Envelope for each project should be clearly marked
“Confidential/EOI for Facility Management Services” Technical and Financial or
“Confidential/EOI for Cleaning, Gardening and Fumigation Services” boldly written at the right hand side of the envelope and should be addressed to:

The sealed envelope should be deposited in the Tender Box in the Secretary to the Tenders Board on the ground floor not later than 11:00am on 27th August 2014. Late submission would not be accepted.
Opening:
Opening of the received bid documents would commence immediately following the closure of the submission of bids at 11:00am on the 27th August, 2014 at the Commission’s Multi-Media Hall. All bidders and/or their representatives, relevant professional Bodies and NGO’s are invited to witness the opening exercise accordingly.

- The SEC reserves the right to reject any or all the submissions that do not meet the requirements as specified.
- The evaluaton of the received documents shall be strictly based on the requirements as specified above.
- Please note that qualified bidder(s) shall be notified accordingly at the end of the exercise.
