In compliance with the Federal Government 2007 Procurement Act, the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi invites interested, reputable and experienced companies to bid for the below Projects under the 2014 Appropriation.

Project
Construction of Internal Access Road (Phase 1) at NAUTH Permanent Site.

Technical Qualification for Tender
All bidders shall submit the following documents:

1. Evidence of company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
2. Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years (2011, 2012 and 2013)
3. Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate
4. Evidence of financial capability to execute this project e.g. Audited Account for the last three (3) years (2011, 2012, and 2013) and reference letter from Company’s Bankers.
5. Evidence of Compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act 2011 by inclusion of compliance certificate from Industrial Training Funds.
6. Evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act 2004 by inclusion of Compliance certificate from National Pension Commission.
7. List of similar verifiable and successfully executed projects by the company within the last five (5) years including the location, letter of award and completion certificate.
8. Evidence of equipment owned / leased by the company
9. Detailed Company’s profile (Managerial, Technical, and Administrative Staff of the Company
10. Evidence of Company’s Registration with NAUTH, Nnewi (not less than Category G)
11. A sworn Affidavit to attest to non-affinity of the contractor with any member of the Tenders Board.

Collection of Bid Document:
Interested contractors are advised to obtain the Financial Bid Documents from the procurement unit on presentation of evidence of payment of non refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00 only at the Accounts Department of the Institution.

Closing Date:
27th August 2014

Submission of Bid Documents:
The Technical Qualification and Financial Documents must be packaged in separate waxed-sealed envelopes tagged “Technical Bid” or “Financial Bid” with the company’s name and addressed to the Chief Medical Director, NAUTH, Nnewi. The Technical Qualification documents should be arranged serially as listed above.

Where any of the above is not applicable, please provide evidence.
Completed Bid Documents should be dropped in the Tender Box in the office of the Chief Medical Director not later than 12.00 noon on Wednesday 27th August, 2014.

Opening of Bid Documents:
Bid documents shall be opened on Wednesday 27th August 2014 at 12.30 pm at NAUTH Nnewi Theater Complex.

Note:

• Documents submitted after six weeks from Wednesday 16th July, 2014 shall be rejected.
• This advertisement is published for information purpose only and should not be considered as a commitment or obligation on the part of the Hospital to award of contract.
• The Hospital reserves the right to annul the bidding process at any time without incurring any liabilities and assigning reason thereto.
• Only financial bids of companies that met the Technical Criteria shall be opened during the bid opening.
• The Hospital is not bound to accept the lowest tender submitted.
• The Hospital shall not be responsible for any cost incurred in the bid preparation and submission of documents.
• Independent observers and interested members of the public are invited for the Bid opening on Wednesday 27th August, 2014 at 12.30pm at NAUTH Nnewi Theater Complex.
