The National Agency for food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) procure the services of reputable consulting firms for the preparation & working drawings, detailed cost estimates and building approval plan for the construction of a perimeter fence and gate-house at NAFDAC Property in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja and Benue State Capital Makurdi, and any other services that may be assigned by the Agency.

Invitation for Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services NAFDAC

Expressions of Interest are invited from qualified and interested consulting firms for:

• Lot 1: The preparation of working drawings, detailed cost estimates and building approval plan for the construction of perimeter fence and gate-house at NAFDAC property kyami district cadastral zone E23, Abuja
• Lot 2: The preparation of working drawings, detailed cost estimates and building approval plan for the construction of perimeter fence and gate-house at NAFDAC property along Alaide Oturkpo Road Makurdi

• Evidence of Registration with corporate Affairs commission (CAC, namely Certificate of Incorporation, Memo and Articles of Association
• Tax Clearance Certificate for three years i.e. 2011 2012, and 2013;
• Valid Certificate of compliance with Pension Act issued by the National Pension Commission (Pencom) for firms with more than five(S) employees;
• Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance to Federal Inland Revenue Services
• Evidence of compliance with ITF Provision, including proof of remittance;
• Detailed Company profile, including curriculum vitae, Academic and professional Certificate of staff to be used for the services, their work experience and attestation of their availability
• Evidence of experience of firm in at least three (3) jobs of similar nature and executed within the last three years with verifiable letters of awards, job completion certificate and final payment certificate form Government or other reputable Agencies
• Evidence of Financial Capability/Letter of Bank Support from a reputable Bank
• For Joint Ventures, Memorandum of Understanding should be included
• Evidence of Individual membership registration with relevant professional bodies such as ARCON, COREN CORBON QSRCN, etc
• Practicing license of the principal partner or firm
• Full Address of firm and contact phone number
• Annual Auditors Report for three years Le. 2011, 2012, and 2013
• Proposed methodology and work plan i.e. Technical Approach, Work Plan and Organization
• Sworn Affidavit indicating that all document submitted are genuine and verifiable

Submission/Expression of Interest
Three (3) bound copies of the expression of interest documents should be duly signed by the firni1s representative, one copy should be marked original” and the other two as “copy” to be submitted in a sealed envelope and boldly marked in the left hand corner with the lot number for EOI clearly written and addressed to

Opening of Expression of Interest
Expression of Interest will be opened on Thursday 27’ March, 2014 at the conference room NAFDAC Headquarters plot 2032 Olusegun Obasanjo Way, Zone 7, Wuse Abuja at 12.00 noon all bidders, representative of professional bodies, Non-Governmental Organization in Transparency and Anti-corruption are strongly advised to be present.

• No Submission will be entertained after 12.00 noon Thursday, 27th March, 2014
• Only shortlisted companies will be invited for the next stage to send a detailed proposal (Technical & financial within 15 days based on the detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) that would be issued to them
• NAFDAC shall reserve the right to reject any submission based on unverifiable information
• NAFDAC will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party (ies) in connection with any response to this invitation.
